The Queen’s step well



 Queen’s step well is arrived in the Patan, city of Gujarat state. This place declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 22 June 2014.
Queen’s step well has the historical significance, Even with this place is very important in terms of artistry. So here in the land thousands of foreign tourists come to visit this place.
 Udaymti , queen of Anhil Vad Solnki dynasty king of Patan Bheemdev -1, had built Queen’s step well in the late 11th century.
To fulfill the need for drinking water had made it up.
The step well is 27 m depth, 64 m length, and width of 20 m.
You'd be surprised to know, Many years ago by any water flow, the whole place had gone underground. Carefully dug around 1980 AD by the Archaeological Survey of India. After many years of hard work it was in its original form.
Architectural significance of the place, you must have understood to see the art work. Queen’s step well is a seven-storey. Here are the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu as Rama, Varaha and others. Apsras, adorable girl with the snake statue gestures. And many design is carved.
